Electric Usage Profile

This Solar + Storage system is not for every customer. Certain criteria need to be met in order for the system to provide a strong ROI. We look for peak demands of at least 50 kW and customers whose electric profile is "peaky" meaning there are periods of increased load (A/C Systems, Use of High Powered Equipment, HVAC, etc). The first step is to gather utility and operational data for the building and pre-qualify the load profile.

Building Solar Profile

In parallel to evaluating the electric profile, the building must also meet some minimum criteria to be viable for a Solar installation. Typically we look for roof sizes of 1,000 square feet up to 30,000 square feet of usable space to install solar panels. In addition the roof condition must be in good condition and have at least 10-15 years of remaining rated life. Buildings located in Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island or Westchester County tend to meet these criteria. While possible, Solar installations in Manhattan can be complex. Since our solution mounts the battery directly with the solar panel, there is no need for additional space or equipment.

Detailed Feasibility

Once the electric usage profile and solar profile are pre-qualified, the project enters a detailed feasibility analysis. Working with our integrated Solar + Battery provider, we develop the project Pro-Forma economics. If the project is feasible, we present multiple options to the client in terms of Solar + Storage sizing AND financing options. We are one of the few Energy firms that can offer various financing options (including NO money down options) for the small to mid-sized solar customer! Once the client chooses their options, we facilitate the turn-key solution.
